Dr. Ronan Mainprize
Ronan Mainprize is an Ax:son Johnson Institute for Statecraft and Diplomacy Post-doctoral Fellow at the Center for Statecraft and Strategic Communication at the Stockholm School of Economics.
Mainprize was awarded a PhD in Politics and International Studies by the University of Warwick in 2024. His research focuses on intelligence, statecraft, and strategy. Mainprize is currently writing a book on Lyndon Johnson, the CIA, and the Global Cold War. His academic work has been published in Intelligence and National Security and the Journal of Intelligence History. He has also written for media outlets including War on the Rocks, Engelsberg Ideas, and The National Interest, in addition to think tanks such as RUSI and the Council on Geostrategy.
